Our classic room darkening roller shades are a simple, effective, and affordable window covering choice. They feature a standard spring roller lift mechanism and a straight bottom hem. An optional continuous loop lift chain is available at no extra charge. They block 100% of natural light which makes them ideal for both residential and commercial applications. Made with a rugged 12 oz. 4-ply construction (3-ply vinyl and 1-ply fiberglass) our roller shades meet the State of California's strict fire code for flame retardants. These shades come with a white backing, so no matter how many colors you choose, you'll have a uniform appearance on the streetside. Their slight luster makes them easy to clean and washable with mild detergent.

On inside mount roller shades the fabric will be 7/8" to 1" narrower than the tip to tip measurement (see measuring). This allows space for the shade to operate properly and is true on all brands of roller shades. You may compensate for this by adding to your width measurement and opting for an outside mount. On all inside mounted roller shades you will have a 7/16" to 1/2" light gap on each side of the shade unless there is a window frame, trim, or drapery covering this space.

Sheerweave solar shades are "sunglasses for your windows" offering an exciting new alternative to ordinary roller shades. Made of a unique PVC-coated fiberglass yarn, Sheerweave filters out ultra violet rays and glare while allowing natural light to enter. Unlike most fabrics, Sheerweave allows outward visibility even when fully closed. The superior light-filtering qualities help reduce the fading of drapes, carpets, and other interior furnishings, while maintaining a sun-filtered view to the outside. Our standard series has an approximate openness of 14%,UV blockage of 86%, and comes with a spring roller lift mechanism. A continuous loop lift chain is also available at no extra charge. Note the Espresso and Chocolate colors provide greater visibilty through the fabric as darker colors absorb more light. Lighter colors reflect more light which reduces the visibilty through the fabric.
